compiles lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers
confidentially evaluate their professional peers. "The Best Lawyers in America" referral guide is published annually,
and includes 29,575 attorneys in 78 specialties, covering all 50 states and the District of Columbia. This is Mr. Gasiorek's
eighteenth consecutive year in "Best Lawyers" for Labor and Employment Law. Mr. Morgan has now been included in

was initially fired and sued by his former employer on claims of conversion, misappropriation of company assets, and breach
of fiduciary duty.
June 2009 - Sam
Morgan was a featured panelist/speaker at the State Bar of Michigan, Labor and Employment Section Spring Program. The topic
was "Tales From The Courtroom: Big Cases and the Stories Behind Them." Mr. Morgan was invited to speak on his experiences
representing the individual defendant in the landmark sexual harassment case of Lula Elezovic v. Ford Motor Company and Daniel
Bennett.
April 2009 - Sam Morgan's
article on "Employee Performance Documentation" was published in "Xology," the quarterly publication of
Automation Alley.
March 2009 - Sam
Morgan recovered a unanimous jury verdict in favor his client in Wayne County Circuit Court, in the case of Lula Elezovic
v. Daniel Bennett. This sexual harassment case was litigated for nearly a decade, including two jury trials. The first trial
took place over four weeks in August 2001, in which Ford Motor Company was also a defendant, and resulted in a directed verdict
for the defendants. The case made its way through Michigan appellate courts for eight years, and resulted in two decisions
by the Michigan Supreme Court. This litigation is an example of when the representation of an employee's rights sometimes
involves defending the employee against claims fabricated by subordinate employees intent on trying to get their supervisor
fired.
February 2009 - Sam Morgan
recovered settlements of $265,000 and $190,000 for two terminated bank employees who were wrongfully denied severance benefits
under an established severance pay plan.
